Tom Kranz started his career as a journalist at Temple University's WRTI-FM, where he served as a newscaster and public affairs director. Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1976, he worked at several Philadelphia radio stations and later moved to television. After being fired by CBS for the third time in 2007, he became a communications director for a senior living company. He retired from that position in 2021 and has worked as a writer and podcaster from his home in New Jersey ever since.
